**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)** **Shift:** Nights (12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week) **Location:** Wisconsin **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will apply your professional nursing knowledge and skills to manage comprehensive care for critically ill patients. Your role will involve utilizing the nursing process to deliver quality patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and side effects. - Collaborate effectively with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare professionals. - Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, specifically EPIC. - Participate in unit-based councils, committees, and quality improvement initiatives. - Demonstrate flexibility in floating to Stepdown, Medical/Surgical, and Progressive Care Units as needed. - Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin. - Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC). - Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Information:** - Candidates must be COVID-19 vaccinated, with medical or religious exemptions provided upon request. - Work history/resume and proof of skills checklist (completed within the past year) are required for submission. - Candidates submitted with a taxable home address within 60 miles of the facility may incur reduced billing rates. **Schedule:** - 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled. - Guaranteed hours based on contract terms. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
