**Job Title: Operating Room (OR) RN Circulator** **Location:** Various Locations **Shift:** Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (5 days with rotating weekends and on-call requirements) **Duration:** 13 weeks (Start ASAP) **Position Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our surgical team. As an OR RN, you will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership while ensuring exemplary patient care throughout the surgical process. This role requires collaboration with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care in accordance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and physician orders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and coordinate activities in the operating room to facilitate smooth surgical procedures. - Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment prior to surgical cases. - Maintain effective communication with patients' families and surgical team members. - Update physician preference cards and ensure adherence to protocols. - Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures as needed. - Supervise other personnel delivering patient care in the operating room. - Participate in the quality assurance and safety measures within the surgical department. **Qualifications:** - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience required. - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. - Proficiency in multiple surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, obstetric gynecological, podiatry, plastics, endoscopic procedures, and trauma. - Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients is required. **Facility Overview:** - Size: 99 beds - Operating Rooms: 6 - Average Procedures: Approximately 250 per month - Patient Ratio: 1:1 **On-Call Requirements:** - On-call commitment for one weekday per week and weekend rotation; on-call shifts include Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and all day Saturday and Sunday. **Benefits at ARMStaffing:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
