**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse** **Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing critical care to mothers and their newborns during one of the most important times of their lives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns. - Monitor mother's and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery. - Administer medications and pain relief as needed, following protocols. - Assist with birthing procedures and collaborate with physicians and midwives. - Educate families on newborn care and post-delivery procedures. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. - Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and best practices. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience is required. - Active certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (ACLS, NRP, BLS). - No license hits on background check. - Must be willing to accept assignments in various locations and departments as needed. - Ability to work on-call and weekends based on facility needs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information:** - The selected candidate will be required to provide a copy of their driver's license and will not be considered if the address is from Arizona. - All requests for time off (RTO) should be included in the initial application and will not be approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays. - Candidates should be prepared for a background check that meets specific requirements set forth. --- **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
