**Job Title: Cath Lab Tech / Certified** **Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Tech to join our team. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures as per physician requests and providing exceptional patient care while capturing diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by Radiologists and Cardiologists. **Responsibilities:** - Execute diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. - Ensure high-quality imaging results for accurate interpretation. - Provide direct patient care, demonstrating compassion and professionalism. - Maintain a thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy, and medical terminology. - Collaborate effectively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Minimum Qualifications:** - **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program. - **Certification/Licenses:** - ARRT certification and New Mexico State licensure required. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - ARRT certification in cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification preferred. - **Experience:** - Minimum of one year of radiologic experience required. - One year of interventional or Cath Lab experience preferred. **Skills:** - In-depth understanding of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology. - Proficiency with radiographic positioning and associated equipment. - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. **Work Environment:** - Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, body fluids, and ionizing radiation. - Work in a clean, well-lit, ventilated smoke-free environment. - Ability to adapt to variable work hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies. **Physical Requirements:** - Capability to lift, position, push, and transfer patients and equipment exceeding 50 lbs. --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
