**Job Description: Labor and Delivery Nurse** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Contract Length:** 91 Weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 24 hours per week **Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience, with a focus on providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assess and monitor patients during labor and delivery. - Provide support and education to patients and their families throughout the birthing process. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered. - Administer medications and interventions as prescribed. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 24 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience (REQUIRED). - Active certifications in ACLS (AHA), AFM, NRP, and BLS (AHA) must be included in your submission. - Current and active state nursing license (verification must be less than 30 days old). - No license hits. - Travel experience is preferred. **Additional Requirements:** - Complete a skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than a year old). - Pre-close all candidates to ensure readiness for acceptance. - Must adhere to specific background requirements. **Submission Information:** - Include a completely filled cover page and an updated resume detailing facilities, bed counts, trauma levels, and units worked. - List all departments, locations, and shifts you are open to working. **At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
