**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)** **Location:** Cleveland, OH **Schedule:** 3x12-Hour Shifts (Days: 07:00 - 19:30; Nights: 19:00 - 07:30) **Contract Length:** Up to 18 weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care for patients in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience as well as demonstrate proficiency in managing the operational needs of the facility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Monitor patient vital signs, ECGs, and telemetry readings, responding promptly to any changes. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic charting systems. - Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management. - Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols, particularly regarding infection control and patient confidentiality. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry prior to travel assignments. - **Licensure:** Current RN license in Ohio or a compact state. Compact licenses accepted for assignment starts from 1/1/23. - **Certifications:** Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. - **Testing:** ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments to be completed during orientation—satisfactory scores required. - **Availability:** Must be willing to work at least every other holiday and rotate between day and night shifts as operational needs dictate. **Additional Requirements:** - Must submit one professional reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for. - Background checks will be conducted; open cases will not be accepted. - Compliance with health regulations, including nicotine-free requirements for certain travelers, is required. **Why Join Us?** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
