**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery** **Shift:** 18:30 - 06:30 **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday nights) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. This state-of-the-art facility features an all-private bed hospital environment, with a focus on offering exceptional care to mothers and newborns. As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will provide critical support and care to patients throughout the childbirth process, including labor, postpartum, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of both mother and baby. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and manage required equipment including IV Pumps, Epidural Pumps, and Fetal Monitoring equipment. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records using Med Host and Centricity EHR systems. - Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols. **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 9 - **Patient Ratios:** Varies based on patient acuity - **Patient Population:** Labor, Post-Partum, Neonates - **Supervisor:** Yvette Kersey **Qualifications:** **Required Certifications:** - NRP - Stable - AWOHN Intermediate or Advanced - ACLS **Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Centricity software and well-baby care. **Personality Fit:** - Team player with a flexible schedule. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Education:** - Valid RN license with relevant certifications. **Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Black - No unacceptable attire. --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
