**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery** **Shift:** 18:30 - 06:30 **About the Facility:** Join a state-of-the-art hospital featuring 126,000 square feet of advanced medical services. The facility is equipped with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, and an eight-bed labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. The emergency department operates 24/7 with 16 beds, while the surgery department includes six major operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, and a high-tech cardiac catheterization unit. The diagnostic imaging department offers comprehensive digital modalities for outpatient and inpatient testing. **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong labor and postpartum experience, focusing on the stabilization of critical newborns for transfer. This role requires a flexible schedule with weekend shifts every other weekend, specifically Friday/Saturday nights and Saturday/Sunday days. **Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. - Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring equipment. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Med Host + Centricity. - Participate in continuous education and training to keep skills current. **Qualifications:** - Active RN license and required certifications: NRP, STABLE, AWOHN intermediate or advanced, ACLS. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - Familiarity with EHR systems, particularly Centricity, is preferred. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient acuity. **Patient Population:** Care will primarily be provided to laboring women, postpartum patients, and neonates in a well baby center. **Work Environment:** Our Labor and Delivery unit consists of 9 beds, with patient ratios varying based on acuity. Equipment utilized includes IV pumps, epidural pumps, and fetal monitoring devices. **Dress Code:** Scrubs (Black). **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
