**Job Title: Night Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse** **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Location:** Ohio (Must hold an active Ohio license or compact state license) **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated Night Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse with a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care while working within a fast-paced hospital environment. **Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. - Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, interpreting telemetry data and responding to medical emergencies. - Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and facility protocols. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system. - Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and treatment plans. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. - 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel assignments. - Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start. - One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission. **Job Requirements:** - Candidates must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong critical thinking and organizational skills necessary for managing multiple patient needs. - Exhibit a commitment to quality patient care and professionalism. **Additional Information:** - Orientation hours and specifics related to patient care will be provided upon hiring. - This position has a strict 'do not call' policy; all communication must be handled through approved channels. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
