**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Radiation Therapy** **Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Radiation Therapy to deliver high-quality patient care through radiation treatment procedures. In this role, you will perform treatment simulations, fabricate necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Your responsibilities will involve preparing and maintaining equipment for patient treatments, conducting quality control and assurance tests, and ensuring adherence to optimal infection control and radiation safety practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. - Conduct treatment simulations and fabricate necessary shielding blocks. - Maintain precise and accurate electronic medical records (EMR). - Prepare equipment for patient treatments, performing quality control and assurance tests. - Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. - Foster professional relationships with medical staff and collaborate across disciplines to optimize patient care. - Uphold the highest standards of care in accordance with nationally accepted standards of practice. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy (required). - Current ARRT (T) certification (required). - 1 year of travel experience or relevant post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA systems (required). - Preferred experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. **Additional Information:** This position follows a strict attendance policy. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated.
