**Job Description: Cath Lab RN - 10-Week Assignment** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 10-week assignment in a dynamic healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the Cath Lab along with Electrophysiology (EP) experience. This position requires the ability to perform various critical functions, including monitoring, pacing, and burning, while utilizing advanced technologies in the Cath Lab. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality patient care in the Cath Lab. - Assist in Electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. - Circulate during procedures, monitor vital signs, and react promptly to any patient needs. - Prepare and operate Cath Lab equipment and technologies, including PCI, Shockwave, CSI, and more. - Participate in on-call duties approximately 1-2 weekends per month, and be prepared to float to the EP department as needed. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, including the use of a radiation badge as required. **Requirements:** - Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to commencement. - Current certifications in BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA). - A minimum of one year of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with documented EP experience. - Familiarity with performing Impella insertion, Ballon Pump procedures, and other advanced Cath Lab techniques. - Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor cases as needed. Experience with tilt table studies, cardioversion, vascular procedures (carotid and peripheral), PFA, and Watchman procedures is preferred. **Additional Information:** - Schedule: Day shifts with 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. - Weekend Requirements: 1-2 weekends per month with on-call responsibilities. - Local candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility.
