**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel Position)** **Shift:** 10-Hour Rotating **Location:** Various Locations Available **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical environments, particularly in large trauma level 1 facilities. This position requires flexibility with scheduling, as weekend shifts and on-call duties will be part of the role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a circulating and scrubbing RN in the Operating Room. - Assist in a variety of surgical cases including orthopedics, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, and trauma. - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. - Maintain a clean and safe environment in the OR. - Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures while complying with safety regulations. **Requirements:** - Must hold a valid RN license. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting. - Recent (within the last year) experience in a large trauma level 1 facility is essential. - Proficient in using EPIC EMR within the past two years—this is a non-negotiable requirement. - Must have a skill set covering both circulating and scrubbing roles; both skills checklists must be provided at the time of submission. - Prior travel nursing experience is highly preferred. **Additional Information:** - Reliable transportation is a necessity, as public transport is not available in the area. A personal or rental vehicle with all-season or snow tires is strongly recommended from November through April. - Each candidate’s employment history must be complete and reported accurately, including bed counts and facility types, to successfully submit for consideration. - All employment gaps exceeding 30 days must be adequately explained. **Contract Duration:** 28 weeks --- At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
