**Job Title: Registered Nurse (Tele Med/Surg)** **Shift:** 19:30 - 07:30 **Location:** Las Cruces, NM **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Patient Population:** All ages **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Tele Med/Surg unit. This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about providing quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Tele Med/Surg floor. - Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and health status to ensure optimal care. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols. - Provide support and encouragement to patients and their families, educating them about health management. - Supervise and mentor nursing staff and nursing aides as needed. - Participate in unit meetings and continuing education training to enhance professional development. **Qualifications:** - Current RN license valid in the state of New Mexico. - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a medical/surgical or telemetry environment. - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and adapt to changing situations. - Must be comfortable with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. **Uniform/Dress Code:** - Scrub color: Any (No casual wear allowed). **Additional Information:** - May require floating to other medical-surgical units as needed. - Weekend hours: Every other week/as needed. - Call requirements: As needed. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
