**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Tele Med/Surg** **Location:** Las Cruces, NM **Shift:** 19:30-07:30 **Contract Duration:** 91 weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Tele Med/Surg team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver nursing care to patients on a telemedicine unit, utilizing your skills to manage assessments, diagnoses, and interventions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal health outcomes. - Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed. - Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans. - Adhere to established protocols and guidelines, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. **Unit Details:** - Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry - Patient Ratios: 1:6 - EHR: Meditech - Patient Population: All ages, with a focus on geriatric and adult care. - Supervisory Team: Led by Ronn Wilson, Director of Tele/Med/Surgical Units. **Qualifications:** - Active RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain). - Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or telemetry setting. - Must have the ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed. **Preferred Skills:** - Strong clinical assessment skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs: Any color (no casual wear). **Why Choose ARMStaffing?** At ARMStaffing, we take care of our nurses!
