**Job Title: Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D)** **Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM** **Location: Denver, CO** **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients during their labor and delivery process. If you're a flexible, autonomous RN with a passion for maternal health, we want to hear from you! **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 26 - **Staff Members:** 52 - **Staffing Structure:** Minimum of 1 Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 ORT on Night Shift. - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 for antepartum patients and 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed). - **Equipment:** Alaris pumps - **EMR:** Meditech, CPN charting system **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct nursing care to laboring and antepartum patients. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. - Monitor and manage laboring patients, including those who are high-risk or require cesarean sections. - Be aware of unit guidelines and policies to ensure safe and effective care. - Support mothers and newborns through couplet care and other maternal-newborn practices. **Preferred Qualifications:** - At least 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery. - Experience with high-risk antepartum patients. - Preferred: Experience in mom-baby or couplet care. **Best Personality Fit:** - Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs. - Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment. **Why Choose This Position?** Join a supportive team of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility located in a vibrant city.
