**Job Title: Surgical Technologist (CST) - Travel Position** **Shift:** Days, 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Schedule:** 4x10 Hour Shifts with Call Requirements **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Technologist (CST) for a temporary travel position. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and managing the operating room, assisting in various surgical procedures, and maintaining the sterile field to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare the operating room, including setting up surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions. - Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, fluids, and supplies. - Manage the sterile field and accompanying specimens throughout surgical procedures. - Conduct counts of sponges and supplies to prevent retained foreign objects. - Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate efficient surgical operations. - Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients in various specialties, including general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endo, and trauma. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. - Certification from a CAAHEP-accredited program or equivalent. - Successful completion of the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination. - BLS certification is required. - Experience in adult and pediatric surgical procedures is essential. - Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts during the week and weekends. **Additional Information:** - All traveling professionals must complete fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process. - Hospital scrubs will be provided. - EMR utilized: MedHost (Inpatient), PICIS (OR). - The facility features 6 operating rooms and a total of 99 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
