**Job Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This full-time position requires a professional who can perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient care in a specialized setting. **Shift Details:** - Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - Shift Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM - Shift Length: 4 ten-hour shifts per week - Call Requirement: On-call needed Monday to Saturday (callback only for post-PCI patients) **Responsibilities:** - Provide exceptional patient care in the Cath Lab, including pre- and post-procedure monitoring and support. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients undergoing cardiac procedures. - Administer procedural sedation as directed and monitor patient responses throughout procedures. - Maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the Cath Lab during procedures. - Educate patients and families regarding procedures and care plans. **Requirements:** - Current South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license is required prior to the start date. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or similar environment. - Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. - Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; the facility does not supply these for travelers. - Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing patient needs. **Facility Information:** - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital - Total Staffed Beds: 286 - Charting System: Epic **Work Environment:** - Staffing consists of a team of 3 full-time nurses with a dedicated pre/post procedure area. - The Cath Lab features a single procedural room with an emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement. **Additional Notes:** - Open to block schedules upon manager approval. - Local healthcare professionals are welcomed on a case-by-case basis. - RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission, approved based on facility needs. **Join Our Team:** If you are a passionate Cath Lab RN looking to make a difference, we would love to hear from you! ----- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
