**Job Title: Radiologic Technologist (CT) - 12-Hour Shifts** **Location:** Coos Bay, Oregon **Position Overview:** We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with CT certification to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced medical equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This is a 13-week contract position, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week and the opportunity for additional hours. **Shift Details:** - 12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. - On-call requirements: Yes, with an average of 1 night per week and possibly 2 nights if coverage is needed due to absence. On-call shifts typically start at 11:00 p.m. and end at 6:00 a.m. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform radiographic and CT procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. - Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring their comfort and safety. - Maintain and operate the Siemens Somatom Perspective 64 slice CT scanner and GE MRI equipment. - Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to discuss imaging results and assist in accurate diagnosis. - Adhere to safety protocols and practice standards in accordance with state and federal regulations. - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the Cerner Corporation - PowerChart system. **Qualifications:** - Current Oregon state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, with both Radiography (ARRT R) and CT (ARRT CT) certifications required. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred. **Contract Details:** - Contract length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension) - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week **Cancellation Policy:** - Ability to cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract period. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
