**Job Title: IMU RN - Clinical Observation Unit (Nights)** **Position Type:** Contract Assignment **Shift:** 12-Hour Night Shifts **Duration:** 13-16 Weeks **Job Description:** We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Clinical Observation Unit for night shifts. This role offers an opportunity to work within a team-oriented environment in a progressive healthcare setting. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Clinical Observation Unit with a focus on maintaining a 4:1 patient ratio. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. - Float within the unit as required to support patient care needs. - Participate in all required orientations, held every other Monday. - Work two to three weekends per month based on unit requirements, with assignments ending on Saturday night. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a similar specialty. - Active, unrestricted Virginia or Compact RN license at the time of submission. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. - Experience with travel nursing is required; familiarity with Cerner is preferred. - All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application. **Additional Information:** - Candidates must be willing to commence assignments starting either on August 25 or September 8. - Orientation schedules occur bi-weekly. - Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; locals within this radius are not considered. - The facility reserves the right to cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to patient census variations. **Join Our Team:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
