**Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)** **Position Overview:** Join our dedicated team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) in a dynamic acute care hospital setting. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a small team of experienced professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This position offers a stimulating environment where you will focus on adult and geriatric patients undergoing catheterization procedures. **Shift Details:** - Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday - Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with a team of 3 full-time nurses and support staff in the Cath Lab and pre/post-procedure areas. - Ensure high standards of patient care during catheterization and recovery phases. - Participate in on-call duties from Monday to Saturday, as required. - Monitor and manage patient sedation during procedures, adhering to established protocols for safety and efficacy. - Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting software. **Qualifications:** - Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start date. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting; Cath Lab experience preferred. - Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory. - Willingness to provide your radiation badge; the agency will not provide this. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a fast-paced team environment. **Unit Details:** - Total Staffed Beds: 286 - Daily Census: Approximately 4 patients - Equipment and interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. **Additional Information:** - No weekend requirements, but be prepared for possible on-call duty during the week. - Local candidates may be accepted based on a case-by-case basis, with up to a 60-mile radius from the facility. - Hurricane season preparedness is crucial; all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during this period.
