**Job Title: Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse** **Shift:** 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM **Location:** Inpatient Rehab Unit, Rochester, NH **Number of Beds:** 19 **Staffing Ratio:** 6:1 **Unit Overview:** Join our dynamic inpatient rehabilitation unit, where you'll provide essential care to patients undergoing rehabilitation post-surgery, injury, or illness. Our dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. **Position Overview:** As an Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in a rehabilitation setting. Your focus will be on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, ensuring personalized and effective care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgeries, strokes, or traumatic brain injuries. - Monitor and manage IV therapy, pain management, and other medical needs. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Utilize specialized equipment such as mechanical lifts, Sara Steady, Baxter pumps, and Kangaroo pumps. - Maintain accurate patient records using EMR Meditech software. - Participate in patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families. **Qualifications:** - Must have experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical nursing with IV skills. - Preferred skills include wound care and experience with stroke/TBI patients. - Active BLS certification required. - Flexible and kind demeanor with a thorough approach to patient care. **Additional Information:** - This role will require floating to areas such as CCU, Med Surg, and ER as needed. - Scrubs in plain colors are the required dress code. - Commitment to every other weekend shifts is essential. **Contract Details:** - Number of Positions Available: 2 - Guaranteed Hours: Contract Weeks: 91 **Why Work Here:** We value our nurses and offer an environment that prioritizes your well-being, professional growth, and patient care. --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
