**Job Title: Night Med/Surg Telemetry RN** **Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)** **Location:** Ohio **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts at our facility. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a telemonitoring environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg telemetry experience, along with valid licensing and certifications. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive patient care in a Med/Surg telemetry unit. - Monitor patient vitals and assess changes in patient conditions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. - Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Maintain accurate and current patient records using the designated charting system. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 18 months of *recent* permanent Med/Surg telemetry nursing experience. - Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. - Ability to work every other holiday. - One managerial-level professional reference is required. **Requirements:** - Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation. - Background checks will be conducted; open cases will not be accepted. **Unit Details:** - Patient age groups and unit specifics will be discussed during the interview.
