**Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry RN - Night Shift** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and possess a passion for providing excellent patient care. This role requires the ability to handle a fast-paced medical/surgical environment with telemetric care components. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpret ECG rhythms, and intervene as necessary. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Perform patient education and advocacy to promote wellness and recovery. - Ensure completion of required training and orientations, including the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments. - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress. **Qualifications:** - Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state. - Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience. - BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work every other holiday as required. **Additional Details:** - Must complete background checks and compliance requirements before starting. - Candidates should be nicotine-free, apart from specific exemptions. **Benefits:** At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
