**Job Title: Cath Lab Tech** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM **Location:** Miami, FL **Unit Information:** - **Unit Type:** Cardiac Cath Lab - **Number of Rooms:** 4 rooms, 1 patient per room - **Staffing:** 22 total staff members including RNs and Technologists **Position Responsibilities:** As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a vital role in performing various procedures including cardiac catheterizations, cerebellar angiograms, stent placements, balloon angioplasties, and ENT lab procedures. You will be responsible for scrubbing during procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. **Requirements:** - **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS - **Experience:** Neuro experience is preferred - **Registered Certifications:** RCIS or ARRT required **Call Requirements:** - Expect a maximum of 15 call days during critical periods. **Patient Ratios:** - Estimated at 1:1 **Equipment:** - All GE rooms equipped with advanced medical technology **Documentation System:** - Proficient in Meditech and MacLab systems **Additional Preferences:** - Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to adapt, and function well independently is highly valued. - Previous travel experience in similar settings is a plus. **Dress Code:** - Surgical scrubs will be provided by the unit. **Recognition:** - The department is proud to hold a Gold Seal of Approval, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care and operational standards.
