**Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)** **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Duration:** 13 Weeks **Schedule:** Every other weekend required. Holidays required. **Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care, ensuring that each patient's needs are met through dedicated nursing practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate patients and assist in patient care based on their individual needs. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care aligned with patient assessments. - Identify patient needs and prioritize care through thorough assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessments based on patient issues, the physician’s medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage overall patient care. - Document care in compliance with established standards of practice and patient acuity. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support their adoption in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in accordance with professional nursing practice models. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualifications:** - **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery (L&D). - **Required Skills:** One (1)+ year of experience in a related specialty. - **Preferred Skills:** EPIC experience. **Education:** - **Required:** Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN). - **Preferred:** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). **Certifications & Licensure:** - **Required:** BLS-AHA, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, NRP. - **Preferred:** ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM). **Job Category:** Clinical **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Contract Weeks:** 13 --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
