**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse** **Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM** **Location: Asheville, NC** **Overview:** Join a leading healthcare facility recognized for its excellence in clinical quality and patient safety. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to be a part of our dynamic Labor and Delivery team. Our unit is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by an exceptional team committed to providing high-quality healthcare. **Unit Information:** - **Location:** 4th Floor, G Tower - **Number of Beds:** 16 - **Staffing Ratio:** 1:1, 1:2 - **Types of Equipment:** Baxter Pumps, Phillips Electronic Fetal Monitoring - **EMR:** Cerner, Fetal Ink **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide comprehensive nursing care for women during labor and delivery. - Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding to changes promptly. - Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide immediate newborn care. - Participate in cesarean sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C, cerclages, and C-hyst procedures. - Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes. **Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery. - Experience in high-risk pregnancies and immediate newborn care. - **Preferred:** - Circulating experience in surgical settings. **Personality Fit:** - Outgoing - Friendly - Adaptable **Required Certifications:** - NRP - BLS/ALS - Advanced Fetal Monitoring **Dress Code:** Scrubs (provided) **Additional Information:** - Weekends and on-call duties are available upon approval. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
