**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology Lab** **Shift:** 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM **Contract Length:** 13 Weeks **On-Call Responsibilities:** Required **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the EP Lab setting and demonstrate leadership abilities within a fast-paced environment. **Unit Information:** - **Location:** HHOA - **Building:** EP Lab - **Floor:** 1st - **Number of Beds:** 1 lab - **Staffing:** 3-4 staff per procedure with anesthesia support (Day Shift only). - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 - **Type of Equipment:** Philips - **EMR System:** Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide direct patient care in the EP Lab during a variety of standard implant procedures, including all EP ablation cases (excluding VT) and Watchman procedures. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. - Maintain a sense of urgency and efficiency due to the busy nature of the lab. - Adhere to strict protocols and guidelines while ensuring patient safety and comfort. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology or related clinical setting. - Required certifications: ARRT or RCES for techs. - Proficient in scrubbing procedures and monitoring with Claris. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must demonstrate strong team collaboration and a proactive attitude. **Preferred Qualifications:** - 2+ years of experience in scrubbing EP Lab procedures. - Additional certifications in electrophysiology is a plus. **Dress Code:** - Scrubs will be provided; adherence to unit-specific dress guidelines is required. **Additional Information:** This role is integral to our high-volume EP Lab, currently recognized for achieving the 4th highest engagement score in the hospital.
