**Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12.0** **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring that nursing care plans are effectively followed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, using the data to create individualized care plans. - Identify patient teaching needs and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to establish goals and discharge plans. - Provide timely updates on patient status during team conferences and ensure accurate documentation in medical records in accordance with established policies. - Participate actively in patient rehabilitation programs, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, with an emphasis on patient education. - Facilitate clear communication regarding any changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care and maintain patient safety. - Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, demonstrating effective decision-making and organizational skills. - Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to safety protocols and reporting any risks or hazards. - Take charge responsibilities as needed after completing the orientation period. - Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and actively participate in team-building initiatives to foster a positive working environment. **Qualifications:** - Current RN licensure in the state of practice. - BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to the first shift. - Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is required; at least one year of ICU experience is highly preferred. - Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. **Behavior Characteristics:** - Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring quality patient outcomes and efficient use of time and resources. - Commitment to patient-centered care and an unwavering dedication to safety and excellence in nursing practice. **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
