**Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist** **Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM | 3 x 12 Hour Shifts per Week | Weekends and Holidays Required as Needed** **Job Description:** We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care for patients in a hospital setting. Under the direction of the Director of Respiratory Services and Shift Supervisors, you will administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and operate supportive equipment in accordance with the Department Policy and Procedure Manual. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver respiratory therapy and support under medical guidance, focusing on the education, treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. - Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setup and operations. - Gather and evaluate patient information to address needs, including disease education and consultations with other healthcare professionals. - Develop a cooperative rapport with patients, caregivers, and team members to create an environment conducive to achieving healthcare goals. - Document and deliver education to patients and caregivers based on identified needs in a clear and understandable manner. - Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. - Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. - Engage with medical personnel and visitors regularly. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift a minimum of 5 lbs., push/pull a minimum of 5 lbs., and stand for at least 1 hour per day. **Qualifications:** **Required Skills and Experience:** - Quick learning capability and adaptability to changing patient needs. - Strong accountability for improving the lives of patients and their caregivers. - Exceptional focus on teamwork and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. **Education:** - **Required:** High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. - **Preferred:** N/A **Certifications & Licensure:** - **Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Current and valid Respiratory Care license in New Jersey - Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist certification in New Jersey - **Preferred:** N/A **Job Category: Clinical-Allied** **Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 89** --- At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
