**Job Title: Float Pool Staff Nurse** **Shift:** Days: 7 AM - 7 PM & Nights: 7 PM - 7 AM **Job Description:** We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Float Pool Staff Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care across various acute care settings, including medical-surgical, critical care, progressive care, and emergency departments. As a float nurse, you will have the opportunity to travel to numerous facilities within the health system, ensuring high-quality patient care wherever you go. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with healthcare team members, patients, and families. - Adapt to various clinical environments including critical access hospitals and varying specialties. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance with health regulations. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding swiftly to any changes or emergencies. - Maintain comprehensive patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare staff regarding patient care plans. **Qualifications:** - Valid nursing license and must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility. - Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Previous experience in acute care settings is highly preferred. **Position Urgency:** Normal **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 **Contract Duration:** 56 Weeks --- **At ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
