**Job Description: Staff Nurse, RN - Nights (7 PM to 7 AM)** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse, RN to join our team. This position involves providing professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes. As a Staff Nurse, you will develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while fostering an environment that supports our mission to care, heal, and educate. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver direct patient care as the primary caregiver. - Collaborate with other team members, including physicians and patient/family, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. - Access and manage confidential patient information with discretion. - Make independent decisions and collaborate with others in patient care. - Potential to float to similar units or to other hospitals based on patient census. **Qualifications:** - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - BSN preferred. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry units; Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred but not required. - Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required. - Must reside beyond a 60-mile radius from the facility. **Work Conditions:** - Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM with every other weekend required. - 36 guaranteed hours per week for a total of 91 contract weeks.
