**Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift** **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Location:** Plano, TX **Number of Positions Available:** 1 **Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess specialized expertise in various endoscopic procedures and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment. **Unit Information:** - **Facility Type:** Endoscopy - **Number of Beds:** 5 procedure rooms - **Number of Staff:** 15 (including 5 RNs and 5 endoscopy techs for day shift; night shift on-call only) - **Patient Ratios:** 1:1 - **Type of Equipment:** EMR Meditech **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. - Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Monitor patient vitals and comfort levels throughout procedures. - Assist in colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, bronchoscopy, and other endoscopic interventions. - Participate in endoscope reprocessing and adhere to infection control protocols. - Document patient care accurately in EMR. **Qualifications:** - Must possess active RN license in the state of Texas. - Experience in endoscopy settings is required, including skills in colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and endoscope reprocessing. - Preferred certifications: ACLS, BLS. **Best Personality Fit:** We are looking for team-oriented individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment.
