Registered Nurse - Patient Care

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process while adhering to the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN will also assume leadership responsibilities, including delegating work to other employees, and must comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing health care provision.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care based on the Nursing Process.
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications must be active prior to contract start date.
• If certifications are not current, a booked course is required at the time of Clinical Orientation.

This position is for a day shift with varied hours.
