Job Description

The Emergency Department at a 24/7 facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse. The role involves assessing patient conditions, providing appropriate treatments, and working collaboratively with a fully staffed team to ensure high-quality care for patients visiting the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient screenings and assessments.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Support patients and their families with information and guidance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
• 3 months minimum travel experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS.
• Vermont State License required.
