Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This position requires proficiency in various surgical specialties, including but not limited to robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, and thoracic surgery (excluding cardiac and open heart). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Trauma Level II or Level I settings and be capable of functioning independently in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate in various surgical specialties.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient conditions.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety measures.
• Participate in surgical procedures and assist in positioning patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and manage surgical instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with 2 years post-orientation.
• Preferred experience in Level I Trauma.
• BLS certification required.
• Certifications in specialized areas of surgery are preferred.
