This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM, including some rotating shifts and every other weekend. Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated emergency room nurse with 3-5 years of emergency room experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a 25-bed Critical Access hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department.
• Assess patient conditions and develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in department quarterly education sessions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3-5 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Vermont.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
