Job Description

The Emergency Department Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, promptly screening conditions, and determining appropriate treatment pathways. This is a crucial role within a department that serves approximately 14,000 patient visits annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessments and screenings upon patient arrival.
• Collaborate with medical teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately.
• Maintain compliance with protocols and emergency procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of current emergency department experience in a hospital setting is required.
• 3 months of minimum travel experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Current certifications including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS must be in hand at the time of application.
• Valid Vermont nursing license required.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this position.
