This is a contract position with an assignment length of 16 to 32 weeks.

Schedule

12-hour rotating shifts. Every other weekend or the equivalent is required, and flexibility with the schedule is expected. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in large, teaching facilities and possess the necessary certifications and skills to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in educational activities to enhance nursing knowledge

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be documented prior to start)
• Prior travel experience is preferred
• EPIC experience within the last two years is mandatory
• Prefer candidates with CEN, ENPC, MOAB, or other de-escalation training such as CPS
