CVOR Registered Nurse

Location

This position is located within a facility in Vermont.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with an assignment expected to last between 16 to 32 weeks.

Schedule

This position includes a 12-hour day shift. Candidates should be available to work two out of four holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. Call and weekend rotation may apply.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join a large teaching hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in circulating and scrubbing, with a solid knowledge base in various surgical specialties including orthopedics, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neurology. Flexibility is required as there may be a rotation to the Fanny Allen Ambulatory Campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the CVOR setting.
• Rotate between circulating and scrubbing duties as needed.
• Collaborate with the heart team and other surgical staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Prior travel experience is mandatory.
• General experience from a similar large teaching facility strongly preferred.
• Circulate experience is required; scrub experience is preferred.
• Epic experience within the last two years is non-negotiable.
• Must be able to explain all employment gaps over 90 days.
