Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holidays are required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care across various patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing patients with respiratory illnesses and collaborating within a healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients of all age groups.
• Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment such as ventilators, BiPAPs, and CPAPs.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage critical care environments.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and either CRT or RRT.
• Experience in critical care and familiarity with community hospital settings preferred.
• Ability to float within the specialty as needed.
