Schedule and Shift

12-hour rotating shifts with on-call and weekend rotation. Flexibility required, including possible float to different campuses. Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CVOR RN with solid experience in a large teaching hospital setting. The right candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and assisting in surgical procedures
• Maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety
• Working collaboratively with the surgical team
• Participating in patient assessment and care planning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification required, CNOR preferred
• Prior travel experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience in a similar sized teaching facility preferred
• Experience with circulating and scrub roles is essential
• Epic experience required within the last 2 years
• Solid knowledge base including ortho, robotics, general surgery, ENT, plastics, and neuro
• Candidates with slightly less experience may be considered if they possess strong skills
