Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Unit Information:

Join our dynamic Progressive Care Unit, comprising 44 beds and a highly skilled team of 95 staff members dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

General Information:

• Staffing:
• Day Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Night Shift: 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 at grid, 5:1 stretched
• Equipment: IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts
• EMR: Cerner

Typical Hiring Profile:

• Must-have Skills:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS Neuro and Trauma Care experience
• Preferred Skills: Neuro and Trauma Care experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Neuro and spinal checks
• C-Collar placement and TLSO braces
• Chest tube management
• PCA pump and IV infusions
• Lumbar drain and feeding tube placement
• Blood transfusions

Best Personality Fit:

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Floating Areas:

Stepdown and Med-surg units.

Dress Code:

Scrub Color/Attire - Navy blue

Schedule:

Every other weekend required.
