Job Opportunity: Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED). This state-of-the-art facility manages over 100,000 visits each year and is recognized as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, we cater to a diverse patient population and provide critical care in emergency situations.

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12.0-776697 (36 or 48hrs/week D/E/N Rotating Shifts)
• Schedule: Floating, Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, Charge per Unit Needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assist with boarder patients to ensure timely care delivery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Effectively manage trauma cases in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• License: RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in Emergency Department (ED) nursing.
• Telemetry Experience: Required.
• Travel Experience: Previous travel ER experience is mandatory.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS (Preferred)
