Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

General Information

This Med-Surg unit focuses on the care of post-operative patients and requires dedicated RNs who are equipped to handle a fast-paced environment. Nurses will be responsible for maintaining patient care, including dressing changes, wound care, and drain management.

Staffing Information

• Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
• Night Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 2 Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1:6

Equipment and Technology

• Baxter IV Pumps
• Medfusion Pumps
• SCDs
• EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with post-operative patients
• Competence in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management

• Team player with a positive attitude
• Strong patient advocate
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Scrub Color: Navy Blue/White
