Type: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Weekends Required: Yes (6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position requires a dedicated professional who can provide high-quality care to patients experiencing emergencies. You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, providing treatment, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure the best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ER setting
• Current RN license in the state of practice (Compact license preferred)
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with charting systems (Epic experience required)
• Charge experience preferred
• Ability to manage patient ratios effectively (1:3 expected)
• Travel experience is required

• Geriatrics

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and triage
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide critical care for patients experiencing trauma or other critical conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, and social services
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs
