Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in LDRP, L&D, postpartum, and newborn care. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as in postpartum and newborn settings. The ideal candidate will float as needed across various units.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assessments and monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Administer medications, including blood products, anticoagulants, and pain management therapies.
- Assist with special procedures, including vaginal and Cesarean deliveries.
- Circulate in the operating room for C-sections.
- Provide triage and care for obstetrical patients.
- Utilize specialized equipment and technologies related to neonate and mother care.
- Educate and support patients and their families through the labor and delivery process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care.
- Active compact license or WA state license.
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BCLS, NRP, and ACLS*.
- Experience in high-risk antepartum and L&D settings preferred.
- Ability to float as needed across different units.
Staffing and Scheduling
- Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:1-3
- Daily census: 200-300 facility births per month

- Current copy of WA or compact license.
- Proof of local address (driver's license preferred).
- Completed prescreen questionnaire prior to submission.
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
