Join a reputable healthcare facility with a total bed count of 341, providing services to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to adults (age 0-100+).

Position Details

• Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift
• Shift Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Orientation: 2 Days

Job Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, which includes:

• Operating various respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980, 840, and LTV1200 ventilators, monitoring patients closely.
• Participating in the care of neonatal and pediatric populations as needed.
• Documenting patient care in the EPIC system.
• Floating to different units as required to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Licensure: Must hold a valid New York State license or proof of application.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NBRC Verification.
• Additional Experience: EPIC experience within the past 2 years is required.
• Patient Care: Exposure to neonatal/pediatric populations is highly preferred.

Scheduling and Availability

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, including:

• Working every other weekend and rotating shifts as per department needs.
• Availability for holiday shifts.

Dress Code

Scrubs in either Black or Ceil Blue with closed, non-skid shoes. Minimal jewelry is allowed, and hair should be groomed to meet hospital standards.

• Public transportation is not accessible; reliable personal transportation is required.
