Job Description: IMU RN - 12H Night Shift

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced IMU RN to join our team for a 13-16 week assignment on the 12H Night Shift. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU, neuro, and CVA patients. Please note that block scheduling will not be accommodated for this position.

Key Details

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (ending on Saturdays)
• Assignment Duration: 13-16 weeks
• Orientation: Held every other Monday
• Weekends: The unit aims for 2 out of 3 weekends per month, subject to unit needs
• Start Dates: 9/22 and 10/6
• Census Cancellation: Client can cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census changes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant specialty
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Travel experience mandatory
• Charge experience preferred
• Cerner experience is a plus
• Active Virginia / Compact License required at the time of submission
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included in application packet

Additional Information

This position involves working in a teaching hospital environment where you will encounter students and new hires regularly. We expect all team members, including travelers, to foster a culture of support, especially when interacting with less experienced staff.
