Job Opportunity: PCU Travel Nurse
Shift Details
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 91 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours/week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU (Progressive Care Unit) Travel Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 24 months of current PCU experience and will meet all compliance and certification requirements outlined below.
Highlights
- Candidates must have a home address outside of Arizona.
- Applications must include a copy of the driver's license.
- Must be open to working in various states and departments.
- All requests for time off (RTO) should be noted on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days.
- RTO will not be approved during the first week of assignment or during holidays.
Submission Requirements
- Minimum of 24 months current PCU experience - REQUIRED
- Certifications must be from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, and must be active upon submission - REQUIRED
- No license hits - REQUIRED
- Flu vaccination status must be provided; declinations can be requested.
- Travel experience is preferable.

- Resume detailing all facilities, facility size, number of beds, trauma level, and units
- Skills checklist specific to PCU (must be less than one year old)
- Active license verification (must be less than 30 days old)
- Current certifications (must be active at time of submission)
Certification Requirements
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
Weekend Schedule
Weekend schedule to be determined by the facility.
