Job Title: Float Pool Nurse

Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Position Overview

Join a dynamic Float Pool that offers flexible staffing across various healthcare facilities. We are seeking highly skilled and adaptable nurses capable of handling the full scope of patient care independently. This role demands versatility to provide comprehensive care across diverse patient environments.

Responsibilities

As a Float Pool Nurse, you will:

• Support med/tele and med/surg units across multiple facilities.
• Provide critical care in stepdown and ICU areas, as needed.
• Adapt quickly to various units and patient care settings.
• Maintain high standards of patient care in diverse hospital environments.
• Float between different facilities within the network based on operational needs.
• Respond to mid-shift floating as required, ensuring flexibility at all times.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Proven ability to manage the full scope of patient care independently.
• Experience with med/tele and/or critical care settings.
• Ability to work across various units, including emergency departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different clinical environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The Float Pool role requires flexibility to float between the following facilities:

• Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown, NY
• A.O. Fox Hospital, Oneonta, NY
• A.O. Fox Hospital Tri-Town Campus, Sidney, NY
• O'Connor Hospital, Delhi, NY
• Little Falls Hospital, Little Falls, NY
• Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Cobleskill, NY

Additional Information

Travelers will be notified approximately 2 hours prior to shifts and may be required to work in various healthcare settings across the network.
